Every year Pantone selects the color of the year. The color reflects the upcoming year and influences the design industry. During this unprecedented time, Pantone chose two warm and optimistic colors instead of one.
I like both yellow and gray colors, and I am super excited to see these two colors picked this year.

The Executive Director of the Pantone color institute gave this statement on the 2021 colors :
“The union of an enduring Ultimate Gray with the vibrant yellow Illuminating expresses a message of positivity supported by fortitude. Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, this is a color combination that gives us resilience and hope.
