5 Awesome Photoshop effects to enhance Digital Photography

Enhancing photographs are a piece of cake these days with numerous options and filters available in social media apps. These filters do reduce your picture quality to a certain extent.

This tool has a predefined set of effects available for various dramatic effects.

All you have to do is click on the effect you want in the drop-down menu and you get amazing results in just a second.

For example, let us take this picture.
 This is the Honeydukes sweet shop in Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios Orlando. I took this pic in broad sunlight and as you can see a lot of lighting issues. The pic has a lot of details and a few adjustments will really make those candies pop up.

 After applying the color lookup, the image will be something like this.

Open the image in Photoshop. Create a duplicate layer by clicking CTRL +J or right-click layer and select duplicate layer.

  The color lookup tool can be found in your Image Menu.

When you click on it, you get another popup menu.

The 3DLUT File has a number of presets in the drop-down menu. You can browse through it and select the filter you want.


For the above image, I selected the crisp warm filter. It has a deep contrast which brings out the elements of my image. The vignette effects on the corners emphasize the overall image.


Click ok and adjust the overall opacity of the layer. Done!



2. Camera Raw Filter : 

The Camera Raw filter is a new tool in Photoshop CC, so it is not available in the earlier versions of Photoshop.
