Top 5 New Features in Photoshop CS6

{ new features which I like in Photoshop CS6   }

Most of the features which I am gonna discuss in this post might seem simple but for a long time Photoshop users like me these enhancements will make a lot of difference. I hope it will also be useful to you.

Lorem Ipsum - Filler text:
Whether it’s a mock-up design for a website or a layout design, I always search for some dummy nonmeaningful text and will usually end up in 'Lorem Ipsum' from random website. Photoshop CS6 has included a simple yet useful feature to fill 'Lorem Ipsum'  text!

Search Layer :
Searching the layers by layer name is a basic feature, I am happy that Adobe has included this feature at least in this release. It is going to be a useful feature for designers who uses loads of layers with meaningful names.

HRD Toning/Imaging :
 I use 'actions' to perform HRD toning of an image in the previous versions of Photoshop and now this functionality comes inbuilt along with the all-new Photoshop CS6.

Content-aware scaling/move/patch :
Content-aware filling which was introduced in Photoshop CS5(Tutorial on Content-aware filling in CS5 -http://goo.gl/C91V6  )  involves a series of steps to make things happen.
In Photoshop CS6, there are specific tools and it's easy to perform the content-aware move, patch, and scale.

Enhanced Blur features :
Blurring is one of the useful techniques in photo editing and even in designing. Photoshop CS6 has added a whole new dimension to blurring. With the new Photoshop, users can use focus points to control the blur and obtain the output accurately.

Apart from the features which I have listed above, Photoshop CS6 has a lot more new features like Auto Save, beautiful oil paint filter, enhanced camera RAW,  enhanced crop tool, Wide-angle filter, new features in video support, increase in brush size and a lot more.
I highly recommend you to download and try Photoshop CS6! I am sure you will love it.

I would have loved to see the spell check functionality(which is already available in Adobe Flash )  in Photoshop CS6  but that’s fine - there is always a next version!
